Relic Cards
These are antique relic cards — holy cards and devotional prints of the 18th and 19th centuries, many bearing a small attached relic behind a paper or fabric window, with a cedula naming the saint. Most carry second-class relics (ex indumentis, ex velo and similar), drawn from cloth a saint wore or that was touched to their remains.
For each card we note what the label actually reads, the type of relic named, and the card's age and condition. Where the attachment, seal, or inscription is worn or uncertain, we describe it plainly rather than fill the gap. Our aim is that you can read the piece for yourself.
