Antique Relic of Blessed Marie of Jesus Deluil-Martiny | Original Clothing Relic | Wax-Sealed

A rare antique Catholic relic associated with Blessed Marie of Jesus Deluil-Martiny, foundress of the Daughters of the Heart of Jesus.

This small original relic presentation contains a fragment of clothing associated with Marie Deluil-Martiny, identified by the surviving French inscription:

“Parcelle de vêtement de la Servante de Dieu, Mère Marie de Jésus Deluil-Martiny…”

The card identifies her as the foundress of the Filles du Cœur de Jésus, gives her birthplace and date of birth in Marseille, and records her violent death on 27 February 1884.

Particularly significant is the historical wording “Servante de Dieu” — Servant of God, a title used during her cause for beatification. Marie Deluil-Martiny was subsequently beatified by Pope John Paul II on 22 October 1989.

The reverse preserves an original red ecclesiastical seal, still attached to the aged paper presentation.

A beautiful and unusually intimate piece of Catholic devotional history, combining a physical clothing relic with its original historical identification and seal.
