Vintage Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapular Medal – Blue Enamel | Sacred Heart of Jesus

A beautiful vintage Scapular Medal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, featuring a distinctive blue-green enamel finish.

The obverse depicts Our Lady of Mount Carmel holding the Child Jesus, while the reverse features the Sacred Heart of Jesus, making this a traditional double-sided Carmelite scapular medal.

The medal is finished with an aged golden-tone metal border and retains much of its original translucent blue-green enamel. The natural patina, small signs of age and beautifully worn surface give the piece an authentic vintage character.

The medal measures approximately 18 mm in diameter and has its original suspension loop.

The Scapular Medal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was officially permitted as a substitute for the traditional cloth scapular by a decree of Pope Pius X dated 16 December 1910.
