A beautiful vintage Catholic devotional medal featuring Pope Saint Pius X (Pius X, Pontifex Maximus) in finely raised relief.

The reverse depicts the Holy Door (Porta Santa), an important symbol of Catholic pilgrimage, Holy Years and the opening of the Jubilee Door in Rome.

The medal has a warm aged patina and beautifully preserved raised details, including the portrait of Pope Pius X and the Latin inscriptions surrounding the design.

Pope Pius X served as Pope from 1903 to 1914 and was known for his devotion to the Eucharist, his work of Church reform and his strong commitment to Catholic faith and tradition.
