Blessed Louis-Marie de Montfort Relic – Cloth Touched to His Bones | Antique Sealed Relic Packet

A rare antique Catholic relic associated with Blessed Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, preserved in its original folded paper enclosure.

The small internal relic packet bears a printed Dutch inscription:

“Stof dat aangestreken werd aan het gebeente van den Zaligen L.M. de Montfort.”

Translated:

“Cloth that was touched to the bones of Blessed L.M. de Montfort.”

The relic is preserved together with its original aged paper enclosure, featuring an ecclesiastical red seal. The photographs also show the original small printed relic label and additional paper elements belonging to the historical presentation.

The use of the title “Blessed” rather than “Saint” is particularly significant, as Louis-Marie de Montfort was canonized in 1947. The exact date of this individual relic packet has not been established, but its terminology and original presentation suggest an early historical devotional object.
