Authentic 1st Class Relic of Saint Edward the Confessor (S. Eduardi R.)

This is an exceptional, historical 1st class relic ex ossibus (from the bone) of St. Edward the Confessor, enclosed in a gold-tone theca with intact original red wax seal and silk threads. The relic is accompanied by its original episcopal authentication document (authentic) dated 1849, issued under the authority of Bishop Francesco Sabbia of Crema, Italy.
