Antique Catholic Reliquary Cross Wooden Crucifix Relic Center Pendant

Antique Catholic Reliquary Cross – Hand-Carved Wooden Devotional Pendant

A beautiful antique Catholic reliquary cross featuring a traditional hand-carved wooden design with symmetrical decorative motifs and a central glass-covered compartment.

The cross has a distinctive devotional character, with circular ornamental details arranged around the central section. The reliquary compartment is covered with glass and appears sealed, consistent with the construction of traditional Catholic devotional crosses designed to contain a small relic or sacred object.

The central contents have not been independently identified or authenticated, so this piece is offered as an antique reliquary cross with a relic compartment, rather than as a documented saint's relic.

With its compact size of approximately 4–5 cm, this wooden Catholic cross pendant would have been suitable for personal devotion, carrying or devotional display. Its natural wear and patina add to the character of this unusual antique religious object.
