This beautiful small devotional medal features a circular silver-tone setting with a striking red wax-sealed centre containing a small preserved fragment. The surrounding inscription is in Latin and appears to reference Saint Anthony of Padua, although parts of the lettering have been softened by age and wear.

The reverse of the medal carries a Christian cross, adding to its devotional character.
