A rare vintage Catholic relic card containing a small textile fragment associated with Abbé J.-M. Girard, a French subdeacon who died in Sées (Orne) on 15 November 1921.

The original French inscription reads:

“Parcelle d’une couverture de l’Abbé J.-M. Girard — Sous-diacre — 22 ans alité — mort à Sées (Orne) le 15 novembre 1921.”

The card preserves a small piece of material identified on the original devotional card as coming from his covering.
