Antique Catholic Relic with Cloth Fragment
Original Catholic devotional relic dating from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.
The relic consists of a small textile fragment preserved inside its original folded paper reliquary packet. The packet retains portions of its original handwritten identification note, although the inscription is now only partially legible.
The relic appears to be an ex indumentis (from clothing) or similar devotional relic associated with a pious religious person, possibly identified as a Blessed or Venerable individual.
The original relic packet remains present together with the cloth fragment shown in the photographs.
